Hello again! I'm back to let you all know how things are going for me. Well, I went to KIPP South Fulton school again. There's a girl's mentoring program called ME7. This time, the topic was Smart Like Me. We talked about what it means to be smart and make smart decisions in life. I really enjoyed it.
This past Saturday, I was a guest at the Gillette Men of Style Awards. It was at Geisha House in Atlantic Station. Men of Atlanta were awarded for their style and dedication to their work and their community. Some of the honorees were Lance Gross, Mark Hayes, Big Boi, Frank Ski, and some others as well. It was a lot of fun. But, my feet were KILLING me by the end of the night. :)
Well, this weekend, I'm juding a middle school pageant. I'm really excited about that. I've never judged before, and I think it will be a very fun experience. I love to see young people doing great things. Also, I'm going to be in the College Park Parade. It's going to be COLD!!!! Brrrrr!
I think I'm getting the hang of having this title. However, it's kind of hard to go to the gym consistently like I always do. There's always an event or some meeting going on, and we all know how long it takes to get our hair in order after a nice, sweaty workout. But, I'll figure it out. I've almost completed my first month as queen, and I'm looking forward to eleven more.
